Weigand Associates, Inc. (WAI) is a Woman Owned Small Business entity located in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  WAI was formed in 1992 to provide premier mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering design services for architecture.   Our services also include lighting design, fire protection, HVAC acoustical engineering, energy modeling, MEP LEED consulting, and commissioning.

WAI has developed a strong niche for governmental, educational, commercial, mission critical, medical, religious, and high-end residential projects.  We are deeply committed to providing the highest quality of service to our clients and take pride in developing innovative engineering solutions for every project.

WAI has recently opened a Harrisburg, PA office!!   We are certified through the   Pennsylvania Department of General Services as a Woman Owned Small Business. WAI is also certified through: MDOT, SWaM, Baltimore County DPW, Prince George's Co. Government and Public Schools, MTA, and LSBRP in Montgomery County.
