As the prime consultant, WAI is providing mechanical and electrical engineering services for a complete HVAC plant replacement for this 125,000 sq. ft. urban middle school. Work includes: a life cycle cost analysis to determine the replacement system, complete mechanical design of the replacement system with electrical (including a 13.2 KV primary service switching and power distribution system), structural and architectural support and full construction administration services throughout construction. WAI is also responsible for developing a design schedule and construction plan to prevent any interruption to normal school activities. Prior to this project, WAI performed a feasibility study for the HVAC retrofit.
