WAI provided electrical engineering services as a consultant to Ellerbe Becket for the design of this 72,000 square foot new medical/dental facility. WAI was responsible for the design of: the electrical power distribution from the 15 KV electrical sub-station to and throughout the building, emergency power, site lighting, interior lighting, lightning protection, fire alarm, nurse call, and life safety systems. WAI, in conjunction with a communications consultant, was also responsible for developing the construction documents for the installation of the complete data and telephone systems.
WAI performed a complete coordination study of the entire electrical distribution system from the 15KV 800 ampere pad mounted switch down to each branch circuit using the DAPPER load analysis program.
