Shaare Tefila Congregation is ideally located on 4.09 acres, on Georgia Avenue, just north of Route 28, serving the Jewish community of Greater Olney, Rockville, and Aspen Hill areas.
WAI is providing full mechanical, plumbing, and electrical design services for the new 40,000 square foot two story multipurpose facility/synagogue. The facility is intended to include: a worship space which can expand into the adjacent gathering space and Kiddush hall, a social hall, two full service kitchens, administrative offices, classrooms, and utility support spaces. The Kiddush Room and Social Hall will be available for weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs, as well as other occasions. A sanctuary expansion area will be designed as a bid-alternate. The project will include programming for future expansion areas, including: a chapel, future office wing, and classroom wing. |
